About 10 minutes by car from Hakuba MAHOROBA to Iwatake Mountain Resort.

Take Gondola Noah for about 10 minutes with sky walking view, and quickly to the summit of Iwatake at an altitude of 1289M.

Once you reach the top of the mountain, you can take a forest bath in a 「NEZUKO Forest」 with lots of negative ions.

Or you can take a nap with hammock set up there.

The biggest attraction of this Iwatake Mountain Resort is the view from Hakuba Mountain Harbor!

"LAND STATION HAKUBA," operated by Snow Peak, headquartered in Niigata, Finally opened on July 23 (Thu)2020, the newest must see spot in Hakuba!

The weekends Marche will be held in weekends where you can find products produced in Shinshu, such as agricultural products, processed foods, crafts, arts, and workshops.

About 3 minutes by car from MAHOROBA, please come and visit there.

The hike to Happo pond from Hakuba

Happo pond was selected as Japan's 36 most beautiful places by CNN in 2017.

-- a village known for its winter skiing amid the mountains of Nagano Prefecture -- is a classic trail in the Japanese Alps. Surrounded by the Hakuba Peaks, the pond is 2,060 meters above sea level. What the pond lacks in size, it makes up for in beauty, reflecting the 3,000 meter tall peaks in its quiet waters.

It takes about 5 minutes by car from MAHOROBA to gondra station, 20 minutes by foot.

Prepare well for the mountain trekking, need rainwear and nice mountain boots to trek.
The hidden gem, KITAONE highland

KITAONE is a part of Hakuba Happo area.

The place was well known only to local people with superb views but recently KITAONE became more popular as the facility and attraction got enhanced well.

Visitors can go there very easily by rifts to 1200m highland.

Have lunch there or take a nap, spend the time whatever you like.

There is a special tour where visitors can look at the sunrise and sea of clouds. Kitaone Highlands is well known as a place where you can see a sunrise.
